About this app

The Industrial Map application will guide you through the fascinating history of Prague 9 – the neighborhoods that shaped the history of Czechoslovak industry. We focus primarily on the premises of the engineering giant ČKD in their form from the 1980s.

Main features of the application:

Interactive map: Detailed delineation of historical premises such as ČKD Elektrotechnika, Trakce, Kompresory or Lokomotivka.

Object catalog: More than 80 mapped points of interest including halls, administrative buildings and iconic chimneys.

Filtering: Easy distinction between existing buildings and objects that have already given way to modern construction.

GPS orientation: Find your exact location directly on the terrain of historical factories.
