This application works very well with original Mi Fit application (but is no way associated with Xiaomi). This means that you can always have the latest Mi Fit version and the latest Mi Band firmware in addition to great and powerful notification features.

• Multiple notifications per application (thanks to this feature, you can set different patterns for single application, for example you can set WhatsApp messages from your boss in red and from your friends in blue).
• Power Nap feature (need a short nap? Just activate this and Mi Band will wake you up by vibrations when you're done resting).
• Idle Alerts (you can set an alert so the band will buzz you if you've been inactive for some time). You can also control the interval, time frame and inactivity threshold.
• Configurable notifications times (even separately for weekends) and conditions (globally and per notification).
• Advanced settings (disable non-interactive notifications, shake to dismiss power nap, disable in silence mode, disable while screen is on, ...).
• Missed notifications (notification is not lost when you are out of reach of your phone, you will get the last missed notification on reconnect).
• Fully customizable widgets (daily fitness goal progress, bracelet battery, etc).
• Export/Import Settings (to your storage or to the cloud).
• Tasker, Automagic, Automate and Locale support (advanced and fully customizable action plugins).
• Designed completely according to Google's Material Design guidelines and best practices in mind.
• Many of 'those little things', for example, application automatically detects the dominant color of an application icon / contact picture and preselects it for you.
• Fully supports all original Mi Band bracelets (including the white-only 1A version for which Mi Band Tools automatically adjusts the user interface to match the features supported by this bracelet version).

Completely great app, adding useful features which are not included in official app. Lots of customization, but it's easy to use. Totally worth buying it. There is just one problem, it still can't connect to fitness apps like Runtastic. ☹️

After full reinstall both apps tools and mi band app, unpairing device, clearing cache etc... its works fine again now. It wasnt my bad configuration like dev said, but fcked update or something... cause before everything was ok.

Everything works flawlessly but there is a real problem here. Your alarms are crazy firing off constantly 2.1x per minute. You dont need that huge number of alarms every minute.. your wakelocks are also constantly driving the phone awake, my nexus6p barely gets deep sleep at all with your alarms and wakelocks. You need to fix this asap. Or else I need a refund..

Thanks for kind words. To connect Mi Band to 3rd party running fitness apps, you must turn the bracelet discoverable (in Mi Fit) or do it prior bonding and pairing with Mi Fit. Unfortunately we're limited by number of characters and therefore can not provide more help in reviews.

Huge Battery Drain. Practically doing nothing (no app notification, no call notification, heart rate every 30 mins) and mi band 2 got to 56% battery after 2 days of use. It used to last 3-4 weeks. The only reason I downloaded this app for sleep as android integration, but not sure if it justifies 25% battery use per day.

It does not connect with Mi Band 2 using Mi Fit (it has any incompatibility). Uninstalling Mi Fit and installing "Notify & Fitness" I get the MAC address and the application can connect with Mi Band 2 (vibration test). The problem is that the application is showing the message to allow access to the notifications for the "Mi fit" application (not installed) and then is unusable :-(

I'm using the latest version. There's no way to contact developers. Needing to search through a lengthy FAQ is a valid reason to down rate. So is having settings that can't be easily set correctly. Text notifications are glitchy, with an irregular buzz pattern and image display when showing $contacts. This error doesn't appear when tested from within the app, so it's possible you just haven't realized. you have to restart Bluetooth whenever the band goes out of range for it to work, even if it connects.

Really no support from so-called support team. In the changlog of version 3.1.1, it clearly stated that "New: Mi Band 2 Smart Text (much smarter recognition of grouped notifications, text displayed on the bracelet should now always contain the latest content instead of information about number of new messages)",which is not working at all even after version 3.2.1. It will only show the number of new messages, instead of the latest content. Contacted support several times and get no response AT ALL after a month..... Support is a joke. Stop asking paid users to contact support, instead of leave bad reviews, when there is no support. Users have to leave bad reviews if you don't support them.

I bought this app because I wanted to see who sends me messages on different social apps but it doesn't work that well. For example when I get a new message in messenger, the band shows me the icon and then a text "chathead active"

Big improvement over stock app, however would be even better if the app showed sleep data as well as heart rate data.? Also, if you could add the ability to disable the screen at night from within the tools that would be really useful. The capacitive button sometimes catches on the sheets and the display lights the room up.! So for instance, you could say unless the user touches the capacitive button for more than three seconds between the hours 22 and 06, disable the display.? Overall though , great app.!

It's definitely worth the price. This app puts Mi Band 2 into a really smartband! The notifications system and custom personalization makes your daily life easier and it doesn't take too much of your phone's battery. Many thanks to the developers!

my only complaint about the mi band 2 and it's mi fit app was the lack of ability to customise app notifications and sleep tracking in the day. this app is the only one which constantly updates and improves itself further and further. and now being integrated with sleep as android. it's almost as perfect as I can ask for. makes the mi band 2 so much more usable and worth its already low price as a step/sleep/HR monitor.

Safety sound alarm doesn't work even if I turn off the vibrate mode on the phone. As long as you're deep into sleep you can easily miss the vibrations from the bracelet, so recommend to set up the regular alarm as well

Safety sound alarms works correctly, but by design it is only available for repeating patterns - it would not make sense for non-repeating alarms. If you need further help, please contact our support and we would happily explain it to deserve a better rating.

I bought Mi Band 2 just to have a cheap and robust clock with great battery life, but with this app it is so much more. First I didn't believe that the difference would be so big, but I was wrong. Thank you very much, the price was small compared to the benefits it gave.
