Excellent despite needing an update Remembering the Kanji is probably one of the most innovative and effective methods for remembering kanji. This app does a great job retaining the information found in the book, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody who's diving into the book. The multiple choice answers are a great way for doing tests, but it gets even better with the handwritten kanji tests. It does need an update to support the 6th edition of the book, but it's still my chosen method of practice.

The multiple choice font is so huge I can't even see the third option....and I hate having to choose the wrong answer intentionally just to move onto the next question

Answers dissappear too fast I have no time to take in the different kanji. I would like to me myself choose when to move on to next one..

Crashing when trying to download stuff.... Deserves a 5.. but as I was using this app intensively.... can you imagine how upset I am now that it crashes all the time trying to download some stuff... please, I beg you... fix it..

Was great before last update…please fix it. Was a very useful app but after installing last update it crashes a lot. The kanji draw quiz is completely dead. Please fix it since it's the only Heisig related kanji app for android. HP touchpad running cyanogen mod 7. UPDATE: thanks for the quick fix. App is working well again and very helpful to my studies.

Any chance of 6th ed support? I really love this app. It's fantastic. Hope you're still working on this app as I would really love to see support for the 6th edition of RTK. If it had this feature I'd even be willing to pay more than your current gold version price.

The app stop downloading files Cannot download files. I don't know why. Please fix it, or at least, is there a way for me to download the files manually?

This is a five star app! The music is nice and calming and it's really fun, if you don't have this app I highly recommend you get it! Also thanks to the creator for making such an awesome free app!

Superb! This is a perfect companion to the books. The only thing missing is a writing test for the kana, but there are other apps for that.. Note also that the scoring for the kanji writing tests is on the honor system. There's no auto-recog. [For those commenting on the choice of meanings associated with the kanji, understand that they come from Heisig's mnemonics-based study system, and do not necessarily reflect common use.]

Great app to review what you've learned from Heisig method Excellent app, would be even better if it had a widescreen mode.

Needs a few fixes and addons I would give this 5 stars, because it is an amazing tool to study kanji quickly, but it needs to include japanese reading of the kanji and the creater seriously needs to double check some of their definitions. They should try to choose the most common usage rather than some random meaning that might be one definition but is never actually used. For example 旬 does not mean Decameron, it means seasonal. Decameron IS a definition of this kanji but only in the highly specialized sense that no one will EVER need

Some Graphical glitches... And the words at some readings are too small....please fix.

Nice, but broken Latest update 1.13.3 crashes on galaxy tab 10.1. Had a kanji quiz gold banner strangely. Would actually like to buy the gold to support the app (ads are annoying). But don't want to till it won't crash.

Really good app. However, font of question for reading-to-* dictionary quiz is too small, as in unreadable, but meaning-to-* is fine.
