Brings the YubNub command line to your Android device. Provides a YubNub search bar widget for your homescreen.
Where you ordinary Google search bar only does Google searches, YubNub has specialized commands for many different sites in the web. Want to look up a movie review, type "imdb movietitle" to search the popular online movie database. If you happen to want to look up something in the Indonesian Wikipedia try "wpid keyword". And there are thousands of more commands (use "ls keyword" and "man command" to learn more about other commands). Of course you can also use YubNub to directly access the various Google search services. And if there is still something missing you can even go to http://www.YubNub.org and create your own commands.
This sounds great, doesn't it? If you want YubNub for your computer and are using Firefox you can transform your Firefox address bar in a YubNub Command Line by changing "keyword.URL" to "http://www.yubnub.org/parser/parse?command=" on the "about:config" page (from Firefox version 23 the developers have "fixed" the "bug" that you could set keyword.URL, you have to install YubNub as a search engine now, which can be done from http://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=yubnub&opensearch=yes ).
See http://www.YubNub.org to find out more about YubNub and learn how to integrate YubNub in all your devices and browsers. Once you get used to it, YubNub will transform your web experiences!
The YubNub Command Line app is available under the GPL v3 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/yubnubapp/ (the YubNub artwork is available under the Free Art Licence).
