Congratulations you win the prize for worst update to an app. Who ever design this update have managed to take a perfectly functional app. That did what it said it did on the tin. Then turn it into a clunky navigational nightmare. With the the addition on Google spyware which is opt out instead of opt in. So 6 months since deleting this app. Gave it another try today. 6 months later its still clunky, still with the late speicalbuy up dates. Still a clunky piece of c**p. And now to delete again.
App used to work perfectly well, apart from taking an extra day or two up update the special buys. Now it takes a week to update the next days specials while still having them up from 2 weeks previous. Complete opposite of what's needed. The special buys section is all over the place. 3 tools, a jumper, 4 toys, 3 jumpers, 1 tool,1 toy, 4 tools,2 toys, a jumper. What kind of a way is that to sort a list of the special buys? I hope whoever built & maintains this app gets sacked very soon. Awful awful awful 😠
It's very bad for updating the special buys. You often can't see what's coming next until a day or 2 before its instore. With Lidl you can see nearly 2 weeks ahead which is better
Brilliant for the app if I could I would give the app 10 stars because it is that good. Plus the shop itself if fantastic all the staff embers are kind and polite and they are there if you need a helping hand so I would rate the shop 10 stars as well because I think it diserves all ten of them for everything that is sold there
Who's idea was the side scrolling? Can't believe it's still there. It's awful and requires way to many swipes for the small number is products it returns.
Can someone explain to why the specials don't show 3 or 4 dates ahead like they used to and aldi does. Also there are regularly dates with nothing in them. What's going on?
We have listened to your feedback and worked hard to fix a couple of problems which were causing the app to crash. The new app is more stable and should resolve a number of the issues you have reported.
