PptRemoteController is a software tool, with which user could use his smart phone control the playing of Power Point Slide Shows on his laptop.
2. How to use :
a. Get and install the essential software
On your Android smart phone, install the PptRemoteController application from google play. After installation, the icon should appear in your application list.
On your laptop, click https://github.com/decemberpei/pptcontroller/blob/master/installer.zip?raw=true to download the installer, After download, decompress the downloaded .zip file to a folder,then run the Installer.exe and install. The program will auto start after install finish.
b. Control laptop’s PPT Slide Shows using smart phone
On your smart phone, Click to run PptRemoteController in application list. The tip on the screen will ask you to connect your laptop to a specified wifi hotspot(such as PptRemoteController - 7919);
On your laptop, Connect to the wifi hotspot mentioned above(single click the wifi signal icon on windows system bar, then choose the corresponding wifi hotspot name in the pop up list)
c. After connection established, The smart phone will come to below screen.
Open the target PPT document on your laptop if it’s not yet open. Then try sliding the screen of your smart phone, the PPT should start playing, subsequent slidings would trigger the PPT switch to next/previous page. Note that Volume keys are also capable for switching between pages, even when smart phone’s screen is off.
