Articles are mostly written by AI. I recognise the style and the format from having used Meta AI occasionally. If I want to get a collated by AI version of news, I don't need to use upday! Also, they don't refresh often enough. On top of that, the ads popping in are often in German! This truly is an abomination of the former Upday app which was good. What a pity.

The original upday (Samsung free) was great. - Does not show up to date news. News items are out of date by days! - Does not show news items from Ireland, I did notify them months ago. - shows nothing but ads. This app is a waste of memory/space on the phone.

from bad to worse. this app used to be a good news aggregator. Now it isn't. I dont see any news stories from other sources only from upday. i was forced to download a new app (why couldn't the old one be updated) I got spammed by messages to migrate to the new app even though I already did. the new app updated itself and now has removed most countries and has removed the option to disable topics. also I dont need a million notifications, I like to hear the top news. also duplicate news stories
