About this game

Cahoots is a clever card game that works wonderfully alone.
With cards in four colors and with values from 1-7, you have to complete 12, 14 or even 18 targets.

However, this is not as easy as you might think at first sight. You only have 4 cards in your hand at any one time, and there are only 4 of the targets open at any one time. So it can be quite tricky to choose the right card, because the targets have to be fulfilled before the pile of cards with the numbercards is used up.

In the proven single-user manner it is necessary to convert the constantly changing conditions into the best possible result by using random elements.

"Ganz schön clever" is a fast but smart dice game for clever players of all ages.

The dice want to be chosen quite clever here. Cause good choices can lead to tricky chain reactions to fill more than one field at a time. Each selected dice entered in the color-matched area which will provide victory points at the end of the game. But beware: who is too greedy and chooses the highest dice early, loses valuable moves.

Ratings and reviews

Great game, but the app has some issues which could make usability better. First, they should add a way to either keep the sound off after a user selects it or add a way to turn the sound off while playing the game. I constantly start a game, realize the sound is on, and then I have to exit to turn the sound off. This is quite annoying. Also, adding options for online play or pass and play would be great.

The scoring doesn't properly replicate the card game. According to the rules of the card game, "Goal cards that list one or more colors must have at least one named color in play in order to be completed." but in the app, for goal cards like "Sum of orange = Sum of green", it considers it complete when there's no orange or green because 0 = 0. This makes some goals considerably easier than others

What should be an enjoyable challenge misses the mark on two fronts. First, there is absolutely no information given as to how the game scores your play. I can finish Expert level on the very last card or with 20+ cards remaining and still only gain an unrewarding score. Also, in the "About This Game" text, they have started writing about this game and changed to Twice As Clever partway through. Someone at the developers had a very lazy day.
