NEW: Get the Deutschlandticket 🎫

You can now order the new Deutschlandticket (D-Ticket) via the BVG website or in our customer centres. It costs 49 € per month and is available as a personal season ticket without transferability. With the ticket, you can use the entire public transport system, including regional trains, throughout Germany. It is not possible to take other people, or bicycles with you on this ticket.

We will provide you with the ticket as a mobile phone ticket or as an electronic FahrCard in good time before the nationwide launch. Do you already have a BVG subscription? Great, you don't have to do anything at the moment, because we'll get in touch with you.

All you need to do to get your next train, subway, tram or bus ticket straight to your phone is to register by using your email address, password, first and last name...that’s it. You’re good to go as soon as you purchase your ticket with the app. 🚀

Ratings and reviews

Very useful compared to buying the physical ticket most of the time, especially when I have the monthly ticket, I am less likely to forget the ticket if its on my phone. But the problem is the loading time and purchasing has too many kinks. Sometimes it takes over 10 to 15min to complete a purchase, making me miss my ride out of fear of getting a ticket because the app does not work. I would work on making the process smoother and better explanation to the rules of each tickets.

BVG will steal your money and accuse you off being the thief. I tried to use a ticket and there was an error. The QR code didn't show in the app. I didn't want to get a fine, so I used another ticket and emailed BVG to ask for a refund on the first one. They emailed me back accusing me of trying to steal a ticket. Totally awful service for an honest customer trying to resolve a minor issue with the app. If people can't trust that apps are supported, Germany will remain in the stone age.

Don't buy the 4 trip ticket. This option allows you to buy 4 single tickets in one go all in your name. However the app automatically validates all 4 as soon as you purchase the ticket and they all expire 2 hours later. We ended up buying 8 tickets for 2 people for 20 euro instead of paying 6.40 if we had just bought single tickets.
