Using this app when runners pass by your device you can access and view their ANT sensors values which is very interesting to analyse their effort. You can also view the number of detected ANT sensors, the first sensor/runner captured time and the time difference for the remaining ones. Athletes Spy’s performance depends on ANT wireless coverage range that goes up to 20 meters.
The current version detects/supports the following sensor type:
- Heart rate (bpm).
The next version, which will be available soon, will detect the following kind of sensors:
- Foot speed and distance (m/s and m).
Using Athletes Spy you can detect sensors information from the following competitions:
- Half marathon
- 10 mile;
- 5 mile;
- Other modalities where athletes use similar sensors.

Troubleshooting (for Xperia models with Android version greater than 2.3):
- If your ANT+ interface is not working make sure that ANT+ option is enabled on “Performance Assistant” app that came with your device.
- Disable ANT+ option on “Performance Assistant” and reboot the device. Re-enable ANT+ option on “Performance Assistant” and reboot the device again.

TwentyFiveInFive, as the name suggests, was initially created for Roller Derby players who are aiming to pass or improve on their minimum skills lap test.
This app can be used by anyone though; cyclists, runners, non Roller Derby skaters, fitness fanatics, motocross riders, and really any athlete in training. Probably not swimmers though...
The benefit of having this app on your phone is that you can listen to music whilst training, or time someone else's laps, while they do their lap target test. 25in5 isn't just a lap-target test for Roller Derby, it features a stopwatch with millisecond accuracy, and the ability to post stopwatch times to Facebook or email them to yourself - or someone else - if you're that way inclined...
The lap-target mode uses rollers to allow you to set the amount of time, and the number of laps you'd like to bleep in that time. It helps by showing you the equivalent laps per minute and seconds per lap, so you can get a handle on your target times.
In lap-target mode you get a 5 second countdown after tapping start, then the phone bleeps every time you should lap. If you're dexterous enough, or you don't use both hands heavily in your sport, try using the stopwatch at the same time!
In stopwatch mode the buttons flick between start|reset and stop|lap, so you can be confident of hitting the right button and not ruining your timing.
You can set the volume for the bleeps also, in case you are listening to music whilst training, and the buttons are large, making it easier to start and stop the timers, especially when busy.
For less than the price of a half-pint of my favourite beer, you cant really go wrong.

Key Design Principles
The timer display is large and clear even in bright sunlight, a very important consideration for running,jogging, sailing or cycling. The timer has multiple screens views accessed via a horizontal swipe.
Lap timer operates precisely to 1/1000 second via on-touch actions (not on-press). Nearly all other stopwatches and lap timers on the Android market operate on press... these timers are not as accurate as Talking Stopwatch since a press can take up to 1/3 second and yet a touch is instantaneous.
Easy operation on the move
For a stopwatch to be used when actually performing an exercise or activity such as running, there are considerations that most stopwatches and split timers do not address. Ideally a user should be able to operate the timer when in a pocket or other location from which the screen may not be visible. Side button operation, speech and touch screen locking combine to allow Talking Stopwatch to be used easily in this way.
