PREREQUISITES

• Camera: for photo transfers to read invoices, remittance slips or QR codes
• Microphone: to use call from-within-the-app function
• Location approval: to search for ATMs and branches
• Memory: to store your personalized account display in the app
• Telephone: to directly dial customer service and avoid losing an existing session on incoming calls
• Network: the app requires an internet connection to the bank. To check the connection, we need the right to view the network status.
• Referrer: The app checks with the store where the installation was initiated.
• Hard-/software checks of your device: At runtime, we check known, security-relevant attack vectors (e.g. rooted/jailbreak, malicious apps, etc.)


NOTE

With Android, rights are always assigned in groups. So, we need to request permissions for all topics, even if we only need one permission from the group. We use these rights only for the purposes mentioned here, within the app, and do not access your personal

IMPORTANT

The Commerzbank Banking app is not compatible with the "Xposed Framework" and similar frameworks. To use the App, you must completely uninstall this software. If the app is opened with the framework installed, it will close immediately without an error message.

Ratings and reviews

Very good user experience. Does what it supposed to do. It does not show me ads or promotions or asks me to invest in this or that when I login in the app -- Developers, please keep it like this forever, no clutter, no ads, no promotion. I would like to request developers to make it more easier to see my account number and BIC code easily. Current version, I have to go deep in the app (takes a while) to find and copy my account number and BIC. Thanks! 👍🏼

It's a brilliant app. I've been using the Commerzbank App for many years and the last update, with AI capable of reading invoices and getting all the payment data in them (even with multiple pages), is just perfect. The analysis capabilities are actually helpful- fast, simple and clear - which is something that I had never seen before in a banking app. And the app keeps getting better. Great job, Commerzbank!

- The screen with the account overview after biometric login requires a long time to load. - While creating standing orders, a recipient name with special characters is not accepted. However, if a special character is replaced with a normal one, then the app shows a mismatch with the recipient name and IBAN. There is also no option to automatically correct the recipient name. This option is available in the section for normal transfer order but not in standing orders. Please fix this soon.
