With fraenk, you pay 10 € or 15 € per month for your mobile plan – no extra charges and no nasty surprises on your bill. Choose between physical SIM or eSIM, check your data usage, add extra data volume, chat with the support team – no problem, it's all done digitally via app. With fraenk, there is no contract period. You can comfortably pay via your preferred payment option. If you decide to leave, you can easily resign with just a few clicks. Simply cancel your cell phone plan with two weeks' notice to the end of the month. Like prepaid – only easier!

What is eSIM?
The eSIM is a digital SIM that is permanently installed in many of the newer smartphones. The eSIM is linked to an eSIM profile that you receive from us. It works like your previous, physical SIM card, but fully digital! The eSIM can replace or even supplement your classic SIM card. In this way, you can use an alternative mobile phone plan in addition to the fraenk eSIM (e.g., for your company contract).

Can I use fraenk with eSIM?
The eSIM can be used by all fraenk customers owning an eSIM-enabled Smartphone.

Prefer the physical SIM card?
No problem! After registration, you will receive your physical SIM card via mail in just 2-3 days. Insert the SIM card and you're ready to go!

Pretty fast transition from the first installation to being ready to surf the Internet, if messed up a little with the ID procedure - it didn't want to accept my "video selfie" until I redid the whole process from the beginning, it was a bit frustrating, but since it's the 3rd party service there's nothing really to be done

Just another German service that doesn’t care about expats. The app doesn’t have an English version, but that’s fine. What’s really stupid is that it doesn’t let you take screenshots, which are essential for screen translation.

Everything is perfect, but the tariff cannot be paused. I thought I paused it, but it was a tariff cancellation and I cannot activate it again, I need to make a new contract with a new number. Maybe I will come back in the future. Thoughts, this tariff even can not be called prepaid. Since you need to pay every month, without the ability to stop paying and not lose the number. Even in contract tariffs you can pause for free or for a fee for a certain time.
