I moved to AntennaPod after Google Podcasts shut down. It's a fairly intuitive UI, and the controls are good. If you stream the episodes instead of downloading them, there's sometimes skipping at the beginning or when you pause/play. So just download the episodes you plan to listen to. AntennaPod has some difficulty finding all the episodes of some smaller shows, but that's only been an issue with a single show for me. Great app. I appreciate the work put in by the creators 🤎

Similar to others, I've found this app to work fine except for a few key bugs that has sent me in search of a different podcast app. Those issues are: - random skipping backwards by anywhere from 10-30 seconds - cutting off the end of podcasts by who knows how much time (as I can't tell because I can't see the actual length since it's cut off 🫠) - unable to play the podcast after pausing when I wish to play again from a locked screen; I have to unlock my phone, go to the app & play from there

ver 3.6.1 on Android. My needs are minimal so I do not use very many of its features. Mandatory features I do use: High speed playback, easily finds most podcasts about which I care, and it uses FAR less of my very constrained RAM than some others I have DL'd. One Gripe: I see no need for the permission "Run at startup". If I am not currently using an app, and it is not doing something desirable in the background (e.g. monitoring email), it should not be running. Still *****
