Great app but needs a little refinement. Have paid for this app and think it is a great app launcher. It's unique, I haven't noticed any slow down since install and it has a lot of tweaks you can make. I didn't give it 5* because it does need some attention. For those of you who are having problems opening up the Configuration menu when it is not a circle I have found a workaround. Set a long press to hide/unhide menu. Then press the widget and then press your long press button.
Long time CL user great app..one thing since getting new phone Long time user. Keeps my home screen clean to view my wallpaper and open with a circle array. Only one downside, cannot change closing animation as it defaults and remains sliding down and out. Note 5.
Button in lower right corner? I just switched from an HTC to the new Galaxy S6, and for some reason when I click in the spot I designated to open my circle of apps, a small button for accessing settings pops up with it. I've used this app for years and never had this icon pop up before, and tbh I'm not a fan. I use this app to make my screen look extremely clean, with everything transparent. This icon really negates the purpose with which I use the app imo.
Very Good Developer is quite responsive when reached out to and this thing is dripping wet with all the effort put into it. There are few limitations which the developer showed concern for but could not change in my case. I certainly won't fault anyone when I can directly see how invested they are in their work. No issues that can't be dealt with. Enjoy.
Amazing still after 4 years long story short I was a frequent user of this app when I purchased it four years ago, but since then I stopped using it until recently. This app is simply amazing, cool features to customize to your harts content.
Love this app! I'm a minimalist, wanted a screen with no icons whatsoever, here's how: Set CircleLauncher's transparency to 100%, and set Label color to a highly-contrasting color from your background image. I set my widget label to say, "As you wish, my lord", positioned right where my thumb would naturally go. There were only two icons I couldn't remove; one was a flashlight widget, I solved that problem by downloading ASUS FlashLight app instead, which could then go into CircleLauncher like any other app. The other was an ES File Explorer shortcut to my user folder. For this, I created a new screen, set the shortcut's icon to 5 x 5, used a favorite photo as the icon, and used Carousel screen swipe effect. Now, I have two screens with no icons, only the Android app button and the status bar. Suggested (really cool) combination of settings in CircleLauncher: Launcher style Circle, Show centered, Opening animation Roll in from top, Speed 0.5, Closing animation Bounce, Speed 0.5, and in More settings, Fullscreen without the status bar. The app has the ability to Backup configuration. I hope the Restore will work - but setting everything up only took me about 10 minutes.
- app icon changed (as required by Google)
- minor bug fixes
