The earlier version was better. The new version would lock your apps only when you allow its access in 'apps with usage access' . This means now I can access the apps which i specifically blocked simply by turning off its access. This fails the reason why I use the app. I would like the app to be more strict so that i have no way of breaking the rule i set on appdetox.
This app is great to help me stop using some of my apps, I have a suggestion though. It would be nice if you could shut down multiple apps for one thing. For example, shutting down ALL of your social media apps, for 2 hours total on any of them. This way you won't get off an app you want to restrict, just to go to another one.
The latest update seems to have fixed most of my main issues. Now I'd like to be able to set limits on access the Appdetox app itself like I can any other app. That way I can't endlessly go into the app and pause limits I've set on others throughout the day.
Appdetox was great.. but the recent update has schrewed it all. Application needs to run at least once to start the process. Something after starting the application, the detoxed apps still starts working, so it's of no use now. Please fix this.
I have used this app for the longest and it's worked PHENOMINALLY. But there must have been a change made, since now I have to run the app before it can begin working, and by the time I notice I should be running AppDetox, I've just wasted the entire day on Facebook. If you would fix this, my life would be back on track much quicker and I would immediately change my rating to 5 stars.
after recent update.. sometimes it doesn't notify me of remaining time for the app...also lets me use the app way past the time limit without doing anything... the timer/tracker is not functioning properly..pl fix it
