Scheduling feature This app is great, though what would really make it better is if we can block apps on a schedule, instead of just setting a time. For example if its Thursday, and i have to study Friday, I'll schedule my detox from 9 to 5 on Friday. It really helps with the discipline if your apps are blocked when you've woken up. That way you'll have to be productive.
Great help Helping me not spend so much time playing games or staying up late on the Internet. Thanks for the help. Have you considered an accountability function with the App? You have a friend that gets a text or something if you break your rules more than five times in a week, or whatever limit you want to set?
Okay but to easy to cheat Nice clean design and easy to use. But too easy to cheat. I banned apps after a certain time of day but all I need to do is in the settings check the box that allows me to pause the rule. Can you prevent the user from being able to do this during the set detox time period please?!
Would appreciate a few more features but otherwise good For example, blocking several apps with the same rule would save be time. Also, integration with Google Fit, as I use two exercise apps that use Google Fit as a proxy. It would be nice to block fun apps until I reached by exercise goal for the day. I would also appreciate Google Keep or Todoist integration - I can only use fun apps if I've cleared by to do list for the day.
The rules function works just enough to keep me from wasting time, or money on shopping apps. However, I would like to be able to sort the apps by times launched. I would like to be able to see what apps may be my hidden time sinks, without having manually do it. If I could have that, it'd be perfect. Edit 3/2/2016: The sort by times launched feature was added! Changed my stars from 4 to 5. Thanks! :D
Great for Procrastinators I have just started using this app, because I'm obviously a procrastinator like all the other people who downloaded this app. So far, it has been great! I just have one problem with it. Is it possible if app detox could be able to block apps while they are running? Sometimes I have an app open that should be blocked, but isn't because the rule started while it was open.
A brand new activity based rule type
+ Allow usage per steps made (for supported devices running KitKat or newer)
+ Numerous UI improvements
