About this app

This is the official app of the House of the Wannsee Conference memorial and educational center. In the app you will find the offers in easy language, German sign language, for hearing-impaired, visually impaired and blind visitors for a tour of our new permanent exhibition. The individual management versions can be downloaded after the app has been downloaded.

The memorial and educational center in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee is located in a former manufacturer's villa from 1915. From 1941 to 1945, the SS used the villa as a guest and conference center. On January 20, 1942, fifteen high-ranking representatives of the SS, the NSDAP and various Reich ministries discussed cooperation in the deportation and murder of European Jews.

Since 2020, an inclusive permanent exhibition “in design for everyone” has been addressing the importance of the so-called Wannsee conference for administrative mass murder. To this end, questions are asked about how these crimes are dealt with in society and about their relevance for the present.
