About this app

With the DVKG app, you always have an overview of the status of your visa applications and messages about the destination country and increase the security of your user account:

- TAN generator for more security
- Important travel messages as push notifications
- Passport photo generator for your travel documents

To set up the app, you need a user account on https://dvkg.de and an invitation to use the app functionality:

1. Click on "Activate two-factor authentication" on the "My DVKG" page at https://dvkg.de.
2. Install the DVKG app and enter the link code on the home screen.

This feature will soon be available to all users without prior invitation.

After setup, a code also appears in the app every time you log on to the website, which you enter on the website for comparison. They thus prove ownership of the connected app and make it more difficult for attackers to gain access to your user account.

The DVKG offers you visa and consular services for destinations all over the world.
