About this app
The damage appraiser app is used for mobile recording of damage data for real estate on tablets and smartphones for the VGI-Expert Windows program. Therefore, a password is required for full use. You can also try out some of the functions with the standard password “DEMO”.
This damage appraiser app for real estate gives you the opportunity to carry out some of the work that you have previously done as part of claims processing on the VGI-Expert desktop program under Windows, directly at the location of the damage, on your smartphone or tablet. In particular, in the app you can:
- use voice input to capture longer texts
- Use the device's photo function to easily take photos of the damage with your smartphone and integrate them into the database
- Use component data with corresponding texts and price suggestions to record damage items
About the details:
Similar to the existing desktop program, you can browse through the risks that you have exported from the desktop program and imported into the app. After selecting a risk, you can see the associated processes and edit or supplement their data - for example, saving the names of the tour participants, comments, attachments, etc. directly on site into the corresponding database fields via voice input.
But the general data can also be viewed or changed where appropriate. You can also dictate the cause of the damage and the extent of the damage directly and save the texts generated in this way. In most cases, later post-processing or even the previously necessary new recording is unnecessary.
You can also determine the damage in a similar way to the desktop program and you can immediately see new and current values. You can also access an extensive component table with 9,000 entries to record the individual positions.
Any photos that have already been assigned to the process can be immediately supplemented with additional photos taken with the smartphone or tablet and therefore do not have to be laboriously assigned to the respective process using a camera, memory card and memory card reader.
In addition, the app allows you to navigate directly to the location of the damage at the touch of a finger! When planning your inspections, you can also have the satellite view of the respective damage location shown directly, as well as the information that is important for outdoor inspections regarding rain or snow in winter: It is also often important to take a look at the traffic situation at the damage location, which you can see in the App can be done with one tap. If you still get stuck in a traffic jam, the app also offers you the option of calling the location of the damage at the push of a button.
You can transfer the collected data from the app to the desktop program at any time. This data exchange works in both directions even on the go - so you don't have to be within reach of your desktop system.
