Helmstedt is a city with a rich history. In addition to almost 400 half-timbered and professor's houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, Helmstedt's old town has Romanesque buildings and numerous sights. The historic market square is the lively center with great flair. Along with Berlin, Helmstedt is the city that is associated with the German-German border and unity.

The “Helmstedt EXPERIENCE” app is the digital companion on your walks and tours in and around Helmstedt. It offers descriptions of all the paths and a map with navigation aid.

There are 32 information points and 10 exciting puzzle locations for children to discover. At each information point you will be informed via text and images as well as an audio report. This invites you to stroll, look and stop off.
