How would you like to reply to a text from your boss 4 hours after it was sent? Twice! Yes, this Doze feature is a crapshow and should never have been forced without an option to turn it off. This app is saving my job. I spent a lot less than I would have switching to iOS! THANK YOU!! And shame on you, Google (and OnePlus for not fixing this for many months.)
Didn't work The app had no effect. Doze remains on regardless. Apps that issue a wakeLock request are still ignored even those which are kept open after screen darkens. Android 6.0.
Does exactly what I need. Doze is a useless hindrance and this just turns it off. Why don't Google provide that option? Thanks for a great app.
On Android Nougat 7.0 on Samsung GS8+ Worked like a charm for about a week. I disabled it during a recent system upadate thinking Doze would begin behaving like normal - it didn't. Re-enabled it and now it doesn't disable Doze anymore - even with restarts and clearing cache partition. Any idea on how to get this to work?
This awesome app fixed Google's stupid Doze "feature." I now get all of my notifications in real time, and the change in battery use is negligible. I'd like to see a widget or quick settings tile instead of persistent notification in a future version, but besides that, five stars. Nexus 5x, Android 7.1.2.
Widget/Tile Seems to work pretty well, it's a shame that there isn't a widget to toggle on/off as an alternative to the app filling the whole screen, or even a tile for the quick settings tray. Otherwise, great.
