Generally works well. But for subscriptions it's a nightmare. I've probably spent about 1.5 hours trying to add my bank details. Both payment providers are extremely bad. Never seen anything like it (coming from South Africa). As a software dev, I'm pretty tech literate but encountered many errors with every action I attempted. Their one payment partner just takes you to an error page, so that's not an option - tried on my phone (app and website, and my mac). Verimi is terrible too. Impossible.

I don't get why I have to log in again (the app opens a browser window and forces you to log in, btw if you want to reset your password it won't let you) to buy a ticket. I couldn't buy a ticket a day before my trip because it was too far in the future apparently. Less than 24 hours is too far in the future. If you book a Deutschland Ticket after the 15th you are forced to buy it for two months because you can only cancel up to the 15th of each month. Scuffed app, truely.

crashes when one tries to access saved transits. the Deutschland Card is sometimes very slow to show up in the list of saved transits. that is especially bad in a hectic travel situation. the search for routes keeps the initial start date and time even when the app opens hours later, what's the point? nowadays one mostly use the app to check for alternative routes, NOW, because the original route was either cancelled or delayed. so you need a more prominent instant NOW and HERE button in search.
