About this app

One app. All classical tariffs. All of NRW. With the Ticket NRW app (formerly mobil.nrw App) you can buy local transport tickets for the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia! Choose from the offers of AVV, VRR, VRS, WestfalenTarif and NRW fare and travel with all RE, RB and S-Bahn trains as well as all other interconnections (buses, underground/city or trams) throughout NRW. In addition, you will receive information about unscheduled disruptions and information about your rail connections.

• In-app ticket purchase
Every type of ticket for the North Rhine-Westphalia transport associations is available in the app: single tickets, multi-journey tickets, day tickets, weekly tickets and monthly tickets. You can pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Amex), direct debit or PayPal. You can also buy tickets for someone else, such as a friend or child.

• Integrated information for area North Rhine-Westphalia
The timetable information gives you information about connections and addresses in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is just as convenient as the German Railway (DB) navigator. You can store the information under 'favourites'.

• Check the next Trains at your Station
You can see an overview of all trains at your station and check for delays

• Eezy Check-in:
Ticket NRW eezy Check-in makes traveling fast and easy. With our check-in/check-out procedure, you travel spontaneously, flexibly and, above all, easily in all eezy eTariffs in NRW (eezy.nrw, eezy.avv, eezy.vrr, eezy.vrs and eezy.westfalen). One swipe and you can start driving. We automatically detect the end of your journey and calculate the lowest price in the eezy eTarif world.

• Push-Alarm:
If you regularly travel by train, you no doubt like to have the latest information about an upcoming journey. The alarm function sends you push notifications with the details of delays, cancellations and service disruptions. Our system can send you information about disruptions for a specific service or for a number of trains using the same route. To ensure that you can plan your journey properly, you will receive messages until the disruption is resolved. You can click the pause button to stop the alarm function.

• Map
When you have reached your destination you can find stations for 'car sharing' or the position of 'call a bikes' under “Nearby”

• Network Maps
Here you can get an overview about the Network-System in North Rhine-Westphalia.

• Construction Works
Here you can get information, when there are disruptions on the track.

• Support/FAQ:
In case you need help or have questions, look in the app under "Contact" or in the "FAQ".

Quite bad. English translation is half-complete and there's no option to tell it to just use German instead of the confusing mix. Too many clicks to get to the most useful spot: favourite tickets. Also, seems not to be aware of fare rules: in Köln, I don't need to give a starting station to buy a VRS 1b ticket, but the app won't let me proceed without it. Just use the DB app.

For DB Developers if you want to make this App better : — This App is better than DB Navigator — Why So many apps doing the same thing?! DB, NRW, München, etc. — If it all done by Deutsche Bahn, why different User Accounts?! — i think it would be better to unify everything in one app with a single user account. -- Please add an option to import our tickets like DB Nav. -- the timing during night and weekends is not accurate, which is very critical for travelers I will keep this updated. Thanks

Needs much more improvement. Check the app in Vienna or Munich. The app does not show all the different routes. The GPS navigation is also not good. Add the function of buying ticket online.
