SecTrace records guest and visitor contact data when visiting restaurants, hotels, hairdressers or any other event for which visitor registration is required. The data is encrypted and can only be read by the authorized institution, usually the responsible health department. In addition, the data is automatically deleted after three weeks at the latest. In this way we all contribute to keeping open - professionally, simply and securely!
SecTrace is the digital assistant for innkeepers and event organizers, hotel operators, business people with visitor contact and private hosts to meet the requirements for contacting data collection. The contact data are encrypted and scanned by the individual SecTrace Pass, which anyone can create themselves on the Internet without an app. Guests who do not have a SecTrace pass can be recorded manually - without a slip of paper. This data is also encrypted and stored securely. The evaluation is carried out in compliance with data protection regulations (in accordance with GDPR) and only if required by the authorities.

How SecTrace works:
As a host (organizer, restaurateur, operator) you record the data of your visitors and customers after registering your app once using a QR scan or direct input. So you always have proof that you have fulfilled your duties and thus contribute to our being able to and stay open. As a user of the app, you never have access to the contact details of your guests. In the event that chains of infection are traced and public institutions ask you to provide this data, a reference to SecTrace is sufficient. In this way, we allow the competent authority to access the data you have collected.
With Sectrace you have the guarantee that you comply with the data protection regulation towards your guests at all times and that their data cannot be misused. You can't read it anymore.
You can also use the app at different locations. If you have several locations or want to host different events in different locations, this is supported in the app - without geofencing. Do you have several employees who should record the guests for you? No problem. With the multi-user function, the app is made for exactly that.
The SecTrace pass for quick and secure registration:
As a guest, you don't have to install an app. You can simply request the SecTrace Pass at www.sectrace.me. Your data that you enter there will not be saved and will be deleted immediately after the passport has been generated. Before this, either your email address or your telephone number will be checked using a verification code. You can then download the pass to your smartphone or print it out.
Your personal data is encrypted in the SecTrace Pass and cannot be read by the organizer. Only the competent authority can decrypt them after a request. Only your name can be seen on the passport for verification purposes.
