Very useful. One of my most used widgets. Definitely worth the download. Rather than having to open settings and then going to sound then volume you've got all your sliders available at one touch on the home screen. Nice to see there's no ridiculous permissions. Minus one star only because the icons are slightly pixelated when you view on a full HD screen.
Works great on two platforms. No Ads No Nonsense! Works great on Nexus 7, OS 5.0.0. Also on Samsung Galaxy S5, OS 4.4.2. Probably works perfectly on other platforms too. Be sure to put it on the home / display screen as a Widget not as an App or it will be hard to set up. This problem is intrinsic to the operating systems and not a shortcoming of this Widget, which I highly recommend. Easy to set up and easy to use.
blown away just blew me away. very rare to see an app executed this well. beautiful icons, extremely (!!!!) well thought out functionality and options. suggestions: -instead of switching ringtone to vibrate, some people may prefer just to mute ringtone w/o turning vibrate on -screen timeout could be another great category to add
Very handy. This widget includes not just the audio settings (ringer, alarm, volume, notifications, etc.) but also the screen brightness. You can use Slider Widget to change the settings, but you have to change one at a time. To get around this, I use an app (Audio Profiles) that lets me set up profiles. I still use Slider Widget to see where everything is set. This works in Lollipop.
Just what i needed! My volume control in my convertible is barely workable and have found a decent volume i leave it at. I use the tape deck adapter . With the phone in the car cradle i can't hit the volume buttons on the side to adjust. I put this widget next to the buttons for pandora, google music, and amazon music and it works great. I can even adjust my phone conversations when they come in all from one place... very happy. Very simple and intuitive widget. Should come with android.
Very handy way to change volumes and brightness of the phone. I have an idea for a great feature some day: to be able to set a timer when you turn your volume off. How many times have we missed calls because we forgot to turn it back on after a movie or show?
some ICS+ improvements
eg. on devices with unlinked notification volume it's possible to control them seperately
