Not for KK 4.4.4!! Unfortunately, this really nice/handy widget will not work on KitKat 4.4.4. At first I thought I'd found the Holy Grail, after having read that it's impossible to separate out the Ringtone volume from the Notification volume. I saw two separate buttons. And I set the Notification volume lower, the way I wanted it. I double checked in Sounds. AOK. Or so I thought. Then I looked at the Ringtone volume, and it had gotten lowered, even though I hadn't touched it. Then I saw that the two are linked together. Whatever you do to one happens to the other. It's not the fault of the program, per se -- it's built into KK 4.4.4. But I think this author should clearly state the limitation before we download something that clearly won't work on our OS.
It works even on Android 6! Very useful! I don't have to drag notification area to get access to Brightness slider. It also supports Audio for Media, System, etc! PS: Please add a button to turn off/sleep screen. A floating widget over any apps would be great!
Works great on two platforms. No Ads No Nonsense! Works great on Nexus 7, OS 5.0.0. Also on Samsung Galaxy S5, OS 4.4.2. Probably works perfectly on other platforms too. Be sure to put it on the home / display screen as a Widget not as an App or it will be hard to set up. This problem is intrinsic to the operating systems and not a shortcoming of this Widget, which I highly recommend. Easy to set up and easy to use.
No ability to customize the widgets. Only for phones, not for tablets. You can only use the widgets exactly as they make them, so for instance if you want to just control volume, you must use the 4x1 widget with three other redundant functions that you don't want (like ringer volume... on a tablet...?) instead of customizing the 1x1 widget. Add customizable widget function and location/order in the widget and this app would be useful.
Good WIdget. Would be better with better spacing Very nice widget. MInimal system resources. The only thin I don't like is all the dead space around the edges of the widget. Each WIdget could easily fit one more control with no size change. I've actually stopped using it because the dead space is so annoying.
Great app! Finally found a way of not having to dig down through the menus to find the individual volume settings. The only thing that would make this better is to be able to adjust volumes directly on the desktop without the need of the pop up volume bar. But it's still eons ahead of those other apps that just bring up their own volume control panel.
some ICS+ improvements
eg. on devices with unlinked notification volume it's possible to control them seperately
new Language: 中國傳統 and improvements
You no longer need to press the volume keys! All automation control, off ringtone and notification volume, there is much, much more!
