On the other hand, no technology, no smartphone, no training is needed: Residents answer calls with a single tap or call back themselves – barrier-free, without a learning curve, and without dependence on nursing staff.

NEDINA is permanently installed in the care environment and works quietly in the background. What residents experience isn't an app – it's their room responding to them. What you, as a family member, experience is direct accessibility.

Connection means more than just conversations. Send short video clips or photos directly to the room: They automatically appear on the room TV as a screensaver or can be accessed at any time with the touch of a button. An everyday moment, a birthday video, a picture of the dog – small gestures that fill the room with family, even when no one is physically present. Digital participation that truly resonates. NEDINA was developed because connection fails when it becomes too complicated. For residents, operation is therefore radically simplified. Closeness builds trust – and trust requires security. Your video calls are encrypted, the connection is established via German servers, and conversation content is neither recorded nor stored. Only push notifications are sent via the standard services of the respective platform (Apple or Google) – without transmitting any conversation content. NEDINA is made in Germany – developed and operated according to strict European data protection standards, fully GDPR compliant. What is said between you and your loved ones stays between you.
