Used to be good I used to love this app but it's now all gone to hell. Data doesn't refresh, settings don't stick, no option to move settings from one launcher to another, the list is endless. Also this app forces ads in webpages the news stories open in which is annoying as HELL! I'm running a nexus 4, stock ROM with xposed, gravity box and Franco kernel.
perfect Works great on the note 2 however several instances I am unable to open any feed via the browser. I have identified that this is an issue with the launcher I use and not the app itself. GO launcher does not open the links. With touchwiz the app worked fine. Please sort the issue so I can use this app in go launcher as well. Will definitely revert to five stars once sorted. - the developer has sorted this issue. 5 stars
Perfect for my needs I love simplicity, and so far this is the only RSS widget that meets my picky taste. It looks great, works well enough, and manages my feeds (including feedly imports) beautifully. The only thing that bugs me is the side scroll bar. If there was a way to to set the alpha on that then I would be extremely happy. I'm sure this wouldn't be too hard of an addition, seeing as how you can do that with the settings/update buttons. Let me know how likely that would be. Thanks!
Great widget that allows complete customization. A few issues though: images don't load and I can't get more than 3 lines of text...Alas there'll never be any fix for that since it hasn't been updated in years. Still it works and looks great, and above all it's free and without any ad :-)
Puts feedly to shame I wish this was not just a widget but an application. This pulls news real time from google news while feedly takes up to three hours to get the news on time. The developers have a gold mine here and give a killer application that could put feedly and other RSS applications to shame.
The app is simple and good for beautifying themes with neat lookong news feed. The only concern is that it uses huge mobile data. Maybe i need to disable images but still for showong micro thumbnail images it has consumed over 180mb of data this month
-New viewer that displays full article
-Fixed major known bugs that caused "No data available" message. If you are trying to display a large number of feeds (especially with images), it can take several minutes to load content. Please let us know any issues you continue to have.
-Fixed crash when importing from Feedly
-Fixed issue of images getting cut off
-Fixed news viewer bug
-Fixed issue of viewer not opening when multiple RSS widgets are being used
