Doesn't work No updates to any feed, some major, since set up. Uninstalling. I've worked with RSS a million times in the past, and if I'm making a mistake in the setup then you need a more user friendly app that is more ergonomic.
This app makes me update-phobic I use this app only because it appears that every other developer out there hasn't seemed to figure it how to create a feed widget that matches this widget's level of customization and simplicity. That being said, since downloading the app I've encountered my second major issue , I can't put my saved widgets back on my home screen. The feeds I saved are still there. While I do like this app, if a similar one came along, I'd probably replace this. I'm always afraid to update.
I thought it was great until... Great widget until I noticed that it used 167mb of background data in 6 days. That's over 800mb a month.... for a widget. I have 7 feeds that refresh every 2 hours. How that uses so much data is mind boggling. I use Pulse and have 5 times more feeds and I use and update it maybe once an hour and read a ton of stuff with it and that has only used 62 mb. Something's not right here. Also, half the time it just says "No data available" and won't display any feeds. Do I need to find a new RSS widget? Do you guys ever plan on fixing your broken widget?
Used to be good I used to love this app but it's now all gone to hell. Data doesn't refresh, settings don't stick, no option to move settings from one launcher to another, the list is endless. Also this app forces ads in webpages the news stories open in which is annoying as HELL! I'm running a nexus 4, stock ROM with xposed, gravity box and Franco kernel.
Used to be nice Used to work well enough to be useful. Now however, more and more often the news pages that gets opened upon clicking an item is a completely different one than what the item was about. Useless.
Great simple rss reader Great app. Slick design. This transformed my homescreen. If I where to suggest some funtiontionality it would be: Double tap for settings (instead of ugly buttons), Shadow support (makes it easier to read), Text outline and Highlight new and old items. Other than that its far supperior to any other rss readers out there. True story.
