Kisi is a cloud-based door access control and security solution.

UNLOCK DOORS WITH YOUR PHONE

With the Kisi app, you can use your Android device to quickly and securely unlock any door equipped with Kisi.

* See the list of the doors you have access to and unlock them from the app
* Tap-to-unlock*: open a door by holding your Android device up to a Kisi Reader
* Motion Sense**: unlock your door with a simple wave of your hand, without the need to actively use your mobile device

Ratings and reviews

Clear and understandable UI. Works *fast*. I slide on the app, and the door lock unlocks immediately, i am using internet locks, not direct BT or direct wifi (afaict). The response time is impressive, as it feels like there is no lag. Only con for me: Doesn't exit cleanly, at least when i use the android-back button it goes from screen but stays active, that might be android anyway. 1yr later. Still 5*

A decent app that works as expected. it is disappointing, though, that there are no widgets that I can place on my home screen to be able to quickly access a door unlock.

I get background service is limited, there seems to be commentary in app dev forums that changing the service to foreground instead of background would work as intended. Is this something that you could do for Android app? Can the service also run on the galaxy watch app - the app is there but not the service? (PSA if you have a device with routines, I have set up geo-fence routine to open app when I get close to work, this improves handwave working). updated rating
