The tours and the navigation are great, really! But I'd use it much more often (especially for shorter trips) if there was a way to end a tour with less than sth like 5 different screens I have to click through. I often plan something but then change my mind, and instead of carefully editing my tour, I'd just like to stop and cancel all navigation with one click and start a new one, no need to upload and evaluate the stub of a tour I did until then. And so, if I'm not 100% sure I will do a full day event exactly as planned, I tend to end up unhappily navigated by google maps, because it's just less fuzz. Pity.
It was extremely difficult to plan the route. I'd select my turn points and it was completely change the route I took to that turn.
Can't plan a route. Ignores certain junctions, and gives you a massive detour.
No landscape mode put me off. Just spend 20£ for new holder and whack no landscape mode so be careful. Think before you buy anything like extra map's....
I used this app bike touring in France, Germany and Hungary. I found the voice directions really helpful when riding in rain and traffic, where looking a the phone screen would be distracting. I have been downloading the route and running the app offline which has worked well. One enhancement i would recommend is the option to download 100m either side of the tour.
Reported that Android wear app doesn't show my settings of Imperial units. Reported to tech support. They requested pictures, which seems overkill, as it is easily reproduced. Weeks later, no fix. Paid for this app and no support? Garbage!
