Perfect! The simplest solution is often the best. I was STUNNED to see that Google didn't allow the option of seeing a battery percentage in addition to the icon in the system tray on the top right. This app turns on this feature in one simple setting. It doesn't get any simpler, no need for a overly complicated app.
Exactly what I was looking for I've been using an app to display my battery status in the status bar for as long as I can remember. Found out about your app, installed it and love it. Only gripe, very minor, is that the text is a bit small. But I understand that it's the system, not your app. Well done, add a donation button somewhere, I'd definitely be happy to throw you some of my spare change!
Nice, but I want to see my percentage at all times. Why not show the battery percentage all the time instead of this strange 'reveal as battery empties' thing? I want to know the difference if my battery is at 70 of 90 too. If the revealing feature is necessary, please make it optional, not compulsory. Will bump to five stars once this feature is fixed.
Bricked data collection Nexus 7, 2012. Android 5.0.2. Applying patch and rebooting has scuppered data collection in settings/battery. Even worse unticking and rebooting does not restore data collection. Update: just learnt that 5 does not begin to register battery usage until battery drops several % points. Would have been useful to be told that. Now working OK.
Does what it says, no cruft Simple and to the point of adding battery percentage numbers, worth no superfluous extras or permission requirements. I do not need it anymore now that I have Android 6 (which can do this built in), but on Android 5 it was a great little app to have.
Perfect. While I didn't expect to see the data percentage on my phone (since the developer said white text on white battery), if you turn in the battery saver mode, the battery turns orange and yay! It displays the percentage. Since I don't care for most of the perks of a smartphone, battery saver mode is fine for me. Phone: motto e second generation
