About this app

Adolph Franz Friedrich Ludwig Freiherr Knigge wrote his famous book on dealing with people in 1788. Today, his name stands for behavioral guides that have nothing to do with Knigge's more sociologically oriented work in the sense of the Enlightenment.
His original work was therefore not a behavior book at all, not a guide for behavior at the table in good company, but an advisor for courtesy and tact in dealing with people of different moods, temperaments and moods of the mind and heart.
In this application you will find the original text of the famous enlightener, his tips and advice for dealing with people in everyday life. Many of these have not lost their universal meaning to this day:
"Don't be a slave to the opinions of others! Be independent! In the end, what do you care about the judgment of the whole world if you do what you should? ”
"Never ignore the weaknesses of your fellow human beings in a base way to get up! Do not drag their faults and aberrations to daylight to shimmer at your expense! Do not seek to ridicule people, even the weakest, in societies. "
"Be strict, punctual, orderly, hard-working, hard-working in your profession! Keep your papers, your keys and everything in such a way that you could find every single piece in the dark! ”
"So don't talk too much about yourself and guard yourself not to show selfishness."
"Learn to bear contradiction. Do not be childishly taken by your opinions. Do not get hot or rough in the quarrel ... You have already lost half if you do not stay cold-blooded. "
