The memorial and educational center in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee is located in a former factory owner's villa from 1915. From 1941 to 1945, the SS used the villa as a guest and conference house. On January 20, 1942, fifteen high-ranking representatives of the SS, the NSDAP and various Reich ministries discussed cooperation in the deportation and murder of European Jews.

Since 2020, an inclusive permanent exhibition “in design for all” has addressed the significance of the so-called Wannsee Conference for administrative mass murder. Questions are asked about how society deals with these crimes and their significance for the present.
