sub'd. Still see ads in app. There are links in app that take you to another app with another subscription. No discount for already subscribing to one of the dev's apps. I get the need to make money and cover costs, but this is ridiculous. Instant cancel for me. I'm not even going into the other issues with this app it's far from perfect.

Of course you shouldn't see ads with a subscription. Sometimes the communication between the app and the Play Store gets interrupted and a reinstall usually helps. Or do you have more than one Google account oon your device? Regarding UnWX, when you access the app from Rain Alarm with a subscription, the ads will be automatically removed.

Seems nice. I wish that it was not subscription based. I'd consider paying a one time fee to unlock features. But never a subscription... Lastly, why did I uninstall this? Because of aforementioned lack of a one time purchase. I am tired of all developers feeling they need a subscription on everything. If you need the pocket change, keep the ads and just release a full application...

You not only pay for an app, but an ongoing service that keeps generating costs. Ongoing costs include server infrastructure, weather service licence costs, and manpower. A one-time payment is not sustainable over the long run for an app that provides a service. Not asking for much, the yearly sub costs about as much as good coffee every 3 months.

I used this app at work & really liked it. Most weather apps aren't very accurate in my area due to being in a valley between mountains. This app works in real time & simply does a great job at what it claims it does. I'm happy to find it again. The radar is easy to use & understand. It even has a weather forecast for upcoming days. It has a good bit of options to customize the search distance & intensity of rain that will trigger an alert. I only wish there was better widgets with a forecast.
