Desc. is missing Details like XDA knows how to give them The xda script-writers gave me the push through to try out this app on my Xperia Pro with custom kernel and rom (Lupus). Though it just says 'speeds up' it does not clarify exactly how. Please put the tech details in the description.
Nice app but beware!!! This app has root access of ur phone. Hence a small wrong setting can play havoc. To add on to this, there is no proper guidelines/documentation regarding nominal fail safe settings. Worst case could be, that one could damage/burn out the SD card by using improper settings. Some SD cards aren't equipped to handle such high cache values & are damaged beyond repair. Ill-effects may also be observed on internal memory as well.
UI needs some serious work The UI is too complex for thr average users. Probably a setup wizard would help a lot. I believe it is nonsense to ask users to pick up a cache size without providing any technical guide.
Difficult but worth it Takes a long time to manually set up, requires several attempts at figures followed by read/write tests. However when you get that sweet spot... oh my!! SanDisk Ultra standard read speed 16mb/s now 20mb/s S4 standard read 80mb/s now 105mb/s oooooooh yeah!!!! Thanks
Works on my phond Have a Timmy e86 cheap Chinese quadcore phone. Not as fast as you would expect. Changed internal cache to 256 and external to 512. Gallery pictures load much faster. Over system more responsive
not good. it dint boost my class 2 memory. Though i set it from 128 to 512 , i dint feel any difference using this. still my music and photos are loading very slowly. speed depends on class of sd card. waste of time...
