mindu offers you professional help with mental stress. In the app you can quickly and easily book appointments for online video consultations with therapists or doctors. As part of the online video consultation, you will receive a diagnostic assessment and a personal recommendation for treatment.

MINDU HANDLER

All therapists at mindu have sound training and many years of practical experience. The most important prerequisites are a German license to practice as a doctor or psychological psychotherapist. Through regular training, we ensure that all practitioners are familiar with telemedicine.

ACCEPTANCE

The use of mindu is free of charge for those with statutory health insurance – the health insurance covers the costs for the appointment. Your practitioner documents the consultation hours or the services provided in the practice's own system and settles them with the health insurance companies.
Privately insured and self-payers will receive an invoice based on the fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ) after the online video consultation. This can be submitted to the health insurance company for reimbursement as usual. We recommend privately insured persons to clarify the assumption of costs in advance with their own health insurance company and optionally with the responsible aid office.

HIGHEST SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION STANDARDS

The online video consultation is subject to the strictest security and data protection requirements: Transmission on the Internet takes place via a peer-to-peer connection. All content of the online video consultation is end-to-end encrypted during the entire transmission process according to the current state of the art. There is no recording or backup of the conversations. The same confidentiality applies as in practice. All conversations are treated as strictly confidential.
The online video consultation in mindu is carried out using the video solution IVPview, which is certified according to the requirements of the KBV and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds. The certification is based on the following sets of rules: Criteria catalog for the certification of IT-supported processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 42 GDPR - information privacy standard© (data protection) version 0.85 from June 25th, 2021 as well as requirements for the certification of an online video consultation hour in accordance with § 5 Para. 2 lit. a Appendix 31b to the Federal Framework Agreement - Doctors SGB V - ips - video consultation - IT©, version 0.83, 09/23/2020 (information technology security).
