The MINI App is only supported by vehicles that were built after March 2018 and have the MINI Connected Services optional equipment in combination with a compatible smartphone. The Remote Services optional equipment is required for an optimum app experience. The availability of app functions may vary from country to country.

My car is still in transit. The demo mode is value adding. I am able to learn all about my car, the tech inside, its location, where to go and find information on practically about anything. I am happy that it integrates very well with the driver's guide where you can find helpful animations and videos about your car. It helps build my excitement as well for my car to arrive.

Update 28/3/24. Login now delayed. Charge status more clicks. 21/12/21. No reply yet from MINI. Shame as we are trying to help improve. Why do miles change to kms? 27/7/20 Missing electric and fuel usage the old 'out of date' app had. Oil service mileage has changed from 13000 to 13049, without reason. After one week. Now only one star. When we charge in same place on our drive it randomly misses charge information. Range and location are correct, so it is communicating. Old app NEVER did this.

The app is fairly simple but works well. It's useful to be able to send destinations to my car and to check the vehicle status. The widget on my Samsung phone seems rather pointless, as it doesn't update automatically. I have to open the app first, which displays the info anyway. Update: The widget has stopped working completely!
