App does not connect any more. On iPad and android I cannot establish a secure connection (and even suggests I have no network connection, which is incorrect). Used to be great but will be cancelling subscription if it is not fixed. No point paying for a product I cannot use
After using Premium on my computer, the app is a major let down. I don't get to choose my server, which is usually 1000 miles away, and it turns my connection into a 28.8 modem. I turn it off, it's turns itself back on. Please give me a server closer to me, plus more control, and I'll happily change to 5 stars.
It seems that since this company moved to Israel, and especially since their latest app update, speeds are incredibly slow. I've used CyberGhost for over two years, and I used to average about 30Mbps. Now I get about 1.5, no matter if I'm using WiFi or cellular data. That's unacceptable to me.
Why is this app lying? 1. The app's displayed IP address always says somewhere in USA, but actual IP check finds it's all over Europe, never USA. 2. DNS too has also always been Europe, mostly Germany - things are slow. 3. App will not connect without closing the 1st attempt and starting it again. 4. No way to see encryption protocols being used. 5. Customer service never answered my Email. Lost my trust. This is NOT worth the COST. Android 7.2.1.
Now getting annoying. Several sites that usually connect via CG now don't, but do if I turn CG off ...this happens both on my phone and tablet . . Thanks
