Great app with some significant shortcomings. RSS works great, everything is snappy, and some nice display options. But the interface is clunky...it's hard to switch back and forth between Twitter and RSS. You also can't select a quoted tweet, video playback is limited (+ controls at the bottom take too long to appear) and I can't figure out how to view my own profile. Will be perfect when these are improved.
I'm super impressed with the app. I'm using it for Twitter mostly. Only problem i have is, picture that i save from my timeline are not visible in my phone local storage. Please fix that.
Great Twitter app. Highly recommended.
Loved it. There are many Twitter clients out there but there is still something about Gravity and you can never put a price on nostalgia. But keeping all that attraction of Symbian's days aside here are the PROS - Fluid and not resource hungry - Theme selection including a complete black one - Integration of Slack, FlickR, TumblR, Mastodon - RSS positivity - Send delay on tweets And here are the CONS - The app icon is not what was in Symbian - No word filter yet If you have a tiny bit of nostalgia trigger, go get it. Much love JanOle!
I was waiting for this app to come to Android since symbian died back in 2012...
I really like this app but I have 2 major issues. 1- It makes my phone EXTREMELY hot! I've got a Galaxy Note 3 running Lollipop 5.0 And 2 It does not shorten links when sharing to Twitter. If I share from a website I'm sometimes on the 3rd tweet of a tweet storm and haven't even commented. Free version didn't heat my phone as bad.
Just a quick beta release to test a bug fix:
* Adding an InoReader account should be working again. (Fixed a HTTP/2 incompatibility)
* Added a "Push to Desktop" button to the Google Reader section and to the Tweet-Menu. Save your URLs on https://gravityapp.net/push/
Please let me know if the "Push to Desktop" does work for you. I will add support for GetPocket later on, too.
