Spot on for novelty Great work by Dr. Hubschle to get this and the solution/refinement software ported to android.
Good as a viewer, not much of an editor. Interface as a viewer is nice. Not much of an editor though: all manual through the res file. It would be nice to be able to click qpeaks to add atoms or atoms to delete or change them. Really it should be called Shelxle viewer or such. Also it uses shelx97 so no rigu which is annoying. Is there a technical reason it can't use a version made in the last decade?
Looks great! Seems to work fine! I've been waiting for the day I could refine structures on my phone. Would give it 5* if i could view in landscape. Thanks for reply Christian, but that doesn't seem to work on my LG G3 but it does work very well on my Nexus 7
+HFIX adds some hydrogen atoms
+renaming works if continuous rotation is switched off
+in Editor insert ANIS and insert EXTI
+renaming of atoms and q-peaks
+restoring of example files (deletes all files in that folder)
+example contains an unsolved structure to solve with SHELXS
+.res and .ins files can be clicked in a file browser to launch ShelXle.Droid
