Regulatory Information

The MindDoc App is a risk class I medical product according to Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices)

Intended medical purpose

The MindDoc monitoring and self-management application medical device provides continuous long-term sign and symptom monitoring of common mental disorders. This protocol is supplemented by courses and exercises. This enables users to recognize patterns in their symptom trajectories which then can be shared with a mental health care provider and used for self-management. MindDoc thus

provides users orientation regarding the need to consult a mental health care provider by providing an assessment of the general emotional health. A mental health care provider then can include the summary of the protocols in his overall diagnostic and clinical assessment.

enables users to self-manage symptoms and related problems by providing both transdiagnostic and disorder-specific evidence-based courses and exercises which help them to recognize, understand, and cope with signs and symptoms of mental disorders by self-initiating behaviour change.

Important Note
The application explicitly does not replace the diagnosis by a mental health care provider, but can only give orientation on whether to consult a mental health care provider who then can include the results of the medical device in diagnostic processes. The application explicitly does not replace psychotherapy.
Please read the Instruction of Use and information about warnings and contraindications that are provided at https://minddoc.de/medizinprodukt carefully before you use the app

This app has been great. I started using it late 2019 and have kept up nearly every day. It's no replacement for therapy but it helps give you insight overtime into your mental and emotional patterns. The notifiications seem to break with every update, but they also get fixed relatively quickly. Overall a great app. Lots of features even for the free version.

Don't get me wrong I love the app but it needs improvement. I understand the color change for spring but it's harder for me to read everything. I also have issues with change. The mix of these two things are confusing and frustrating. I wish there was an option for which color scheme you want. Or at least an accessibility option for those who have a hard time reading with bright/darker colors depending on our needs.

Hi, you gave us feedback concerning the new color scheme. We are happy to tell you that we listened to our users and created an option to choose the colors of the mood scale. You can change it in Profile > Settings > Colors. Wishing you all the best, your MindDoc team

I loved this app when it used the name eMindLog. It was the best mood tracking app. I loved the surveys, daily and weekly. I was so excited to see it was back with a new name. I was extremely disappointed to see the changes. The subscription prices are ridiculous. They have a great product but it's not so much better than other mood tracking apps that it's worth the subscription cost.

Hello, our team would like to make MindDoc accessible to as many people as possible which is why we offer as much of the core content of the app as possible free of charge. However, as the app grows more complex we have to find ways to balance out the work. This is why we are offering a freemium model. We hope this was helpful! Your MD team
