About this app
diggies are ready-made digital lessons for central subjects in secondary school (grades 5-10). A browser-based application that teachers can use immediately in class at any time - without additional technology and without any special prior knowledge.
At the start there are over 250 diggies on topics in German, math, history, geography, biology, natural sciences (5th/6th), social studies as well as media literacy and current topics. New diggies are added every day.
Every diggie is created in accordance with the curriculum and implemented with the highest level of data security. Our dedicated team of teachers, didactists, UX designers, graphic designers, illustrators and motion designers ensure this.
What is important for students
The easiest thing for you students is to simply download and use the diggies app:
At the start you will receive an automatically generated access code from your teachers (as an ID code or QR code) with which you can easily log in. Don't worry: of course you don't have to enter any personal information or your real name!
There are no costs for you when using the diggies app!

All you need to teach with diggies is an internet-enabled device (e.g. computer, tablet, board), a current internet browser and a stable internet connection. Devices for the whole class and WLAN are ideal.
Diggies are versatile. They are very suitable for face-to-face teaching, including substitute lessons. You will find a fully prepared lesson plan for each diggie specifically for this purpose. Diggies also function as a “flipped classroom” for students to work on the material themselves. Diggies can be interrupted at any time and continued at home.
diggies don't just prepare analog content - diggies consistently use the possibilities of digital applications. Diggies convey the content in a way that every student knows from their everyday lives: lively, interactive and collaborative.
diggies are GDPR compliant. If external tools or links are recommended in a diggie, detailed information on data security and, if necessary, alternative suggestions are available. The firmly integrated tools include GEOGEBRA and PhET.

How much do the diggies cost?
Teachers can purchase an annual or monthly license, with a free month trial.
• The annual license for a fixed price of €9.95 per month.
• The monthly license for €14.95 per month, can be canceled at any time.
Trainees and teaching students receive a good 30% discount on the annual license (€6.95 per month).
The school license is for the entire staff with access to all diggies.
• This license offers 3 free months. The price is calculated based on the number of students.
