The app is generally implemented very well. In my case it stopped working after a few weeks though and I only found out by accident when I opened it and it showed an error message. Multiple updates have been unable to solve the problem and the app continues to display the "risk unknown" status. My suggestion, aside from the obvious fix "Error when communicating with Google API(10)", would be to show a notification or such if the status remains at unknown for multiple days.

Does what it is supposed to do. Not more, not less. Update. The UI would benefit from some improvements - When you open the app the first time for a few seconds it shows 'risk unknown' until it switches to the respective risk display. I would suggest you don't show unknown as an interim state - this is confusing,. Show something that indicates that the app is gathering the status and only show unknown when it is not able to do so. - On the low risk screen the status '14 of 14 days active' is a funky way of showing that you have covered the last 14 days. I would rephrase this to something more meaningful.

I and my wife use the app for months always with bluetooth and location on. She got a positive test recently, she inserted it in the app. 2 days after, my app still says I had no exposure, which is impossible, because we have been almost always together. I do not know who is there to blame, but something is not working as I would expect. I believe it makes sense to let the exposured people know about it as soon as the backend knows. Or didn't the backend identified the contact? It seems useless.
