SWALK, a mix of sound and walk, is a geolocation-based audio app. Eyed reality with a difference. Experience the life and work of a composer using GPS-triggered “sound walks”.
Anyone who enters the bubbles will hear masterpieces of the 17th century in the finest 3D sound and a mixture of information and entertainment, short background information and electronic sound collages that provide a sound experience of the life of the century composer Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672) in Central Germany and Europe bring.
The first sound walks and stations are in Weißenfels, Bad Köstritz, Zeitz and Dresden. More stations and new locations will follow.
