Chord progression constantly skipping notes when i play it. I have an s8 and im fully updated. Please fix. Thinking about doing the paid subscription but unless this works, it's pretty hard to justify. Similarly, is there a way to include classical notation in the chord info? I mean we do set the scale, so all it needs is a staff, clef, flats/sharps and notes. Js.
Love the plus version. Free version only tunes for basic guitar. *edit* Ok, this app has far exceeded my expectations. I bought it to help tune my dulcimer, but I now use it for literally everything. If I can't figure out the key of a song I'll put my phone next to the speakers and get a good estimate of which notes are being used. Then in the scales menu I can browse for matching keys. I can also set it up for mixolydian scale, perfect for my dulcimer which doesn't have a standard fret. If I'm away from my instrument I can test note progressions for songs directly in the app. There's so much more to this app that I don't even use. I love everything about it. Though, I do wish that the frets it shows would change with the instrument instead of always being guitar frets. A minor complaint really. This app is amazing and perfect to help the amateur song writer, singer, and musician.
This is not a tutorial app but it is a very useful tool. Took me a while to find the features I needed but they're all in there. The chord function is great as you can find the different inversions and see which notes are being used. There is also a reverse function which let's you identify a chord you may have inadvertently found. Seems to be getting better all the time.
Perfect app. The only thing missing is a modal icon to let you use the modes of each scale. I.e: (Major Scale) Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian ect (3 note per string variants).
i am a musician + have been using this tool kit for a few years now , 5 bucks a year for the whole box and dice is a pittance for what you get , it is a must for all muso's . rock on
Great tool for musicians. Helped me transition from Bass to Baritone Uke, Guitar, and Tenor Banjo. Easily adjustable for a wide variety of instruments and alternate tunings.
