HOW TO PLAY CANASTA
The goal of Canasta is to collect as many points as possible by drawing and removing peer cards. Unlike Rummy, Canasta is not about ending the game as fast as possible. To complete a round, you need a set of seven cards which is called natural Canasta. A mixed Canasta must contain at least four equal cards. The rest can be filled with wild cards. In addition to the Joker, all 2s are considered wild cards. The wild cards can replace any other card.

the game itself is pretty good. however, the ads are awful. they are difficult to click off and launch app stores over and over when you misclick. the ads are LONG. I close the game out often when ads come up. also, the feature paid players have to block players is a bit ridiculous. when I'm playing, it's great. but things making it difficult to play make it less than appealing.

Editing my review because not only have the ads become more intrusive but they play sound regardless of the fact that I have turned sounds off on the app. Further edit: They have added even more ads, including an ad that almost completely blocks you from being able to draw a card. Very easy to click on it when trying to play. Seems like they just want clicks on the ads.

Just want to say, I rarely ever experience server or connection issues. Smooth, uninterrupted play 99.9% of the time. I've observed these results over 3 years and 4 different devices. Once in a while another player's connection will hang and slow the game a bit. The developers have included the option to switch from CPU to GPU in the Settings menu to fix connection/lag issues. Some users have obviously not yet discovered this. Not perfect, but it's the best Canasta app by far
