Works perfectly Honestly, this is the only "cloud player" app that works as it should. Many others require you to "scan and import" your file data first before playing them (looking at you, CloudPlayer), whereas Beat literally allows you to browse your cloud drive's directory structure and find the songs you want. Playlist management is also much nicer on this than other apps. Yes, it's simple and not super gorgeous, but it does exactly what it says it should do, and does it well. A life saver.
Not so good There's no search bar! How can I find songs easily? Also, it doesn't arrange your files nicely like the CloudAround app does. Would be great it it had these features like CloudAround does.
Just buy an mp3 player I downloaded this app becuase I didn't have enough space to put my music on my phone so I decided I would use Google drive and play music through this app. I ran into one song that didn't play and apparently any song that came off a CD won't play. This is due to it being wma format, so it offers an app you can download unfortunately that app does nothing. So either drop money on an ipod/mp3 player or get on youtube and find your music you want to listen to.
Excellent music player! It's a gorgeous and intuitive app that makes the Google music app look decidedly amateurish. UPDATE: recent update seems to have made changing the equalizer force close the app. 5th Nov: EQ problem still not resolved hence 3 star review and declining...
I think "crash" would be a better name for this app. It crashes after reading the cloud drive (but not playing half the time). Honestly this app needs work before it can become as stable as "Cloud Player". I'll check, again, in about 6-15 months to see if it's stable. It also doesn't seem to do recursive directories
Can't Edit Tags, No Library Just Folders People are hailing this as the best media app? I can't even edit tags, or have proper library support. Imagine how fast this app would be with a local DB of tags ... Anyways besides the minimum cache size being 100mb (that's huge!) and no real library support for cloud music, it does have playlists. The app is definitely workable if you sort all your music nicely and make a lot of playlists. A couple more steps and this app really could be great.
