Bad Update I've been using Mort for a long time, but since the last update, Mort has been stopping the music at random and Force Closing. At times, when it stopped the music in the middle of a song, I've found it saying it was "Reading folders". lt's made my phone restart several times. Before this, I really enjoyed having Mort. (That's why it retains 2 stars instead of receiving 1.) But if it doesn't get fixed, I may be forced to find a new music player. I dearly hope this isn't required because I used to love Mort.
What I wanted but... As someone else said, it's crashing once in awhile. The main concern is, I have about 250 folders of music. Shuffle option is repeating only few of them in random order. As if it is just shuffling 15 or 20 folders out of 250 and continue playing only those 15 or 20 folders again and again.
THE MP3 player for people with many MP3! Most people load their MP3's on a SD card using a file manager, Right? Well now there is a mp3 player that let's me move through the songs the way I mentally see them! WITH Folders! Love it! Love it! Oh yes and an "exit" function. When I found this player, I could not wait to get W1n@mp off my device. And the purchase model is wonderful. Donations.. I move through a lot of mp3s reviewing them from new artists, this app would be absolute perfect (even more Perfect-er) tee hee, if there was [Menu][Navigation][select Folder][the icon to the right of each folder had a 'Delete folder' feature]. Donation coming..
This is the music player to use! Having a discerning ear, I value music. This player has brought my music collection to life! I particularly appreciate the bass boost function. giving me the thump without drowning out the rest of the musical experience. Thank you development team, for this treasure!
Terrible UI. The worst UI ever! 1 Star for ignoring me for so long. Try driving and change to a pecific track or folder. Or use the EQ... The controls are scattered and difficult to reach. There is no playlist (winamp style) so you can see what comes next. I can help you with the design for free. But you have to prove you are changing.
Seems to do everything I want in a music player. Had issues after an update to Marshmallow (Android 6) . Player stopped seeing the external SD card. I had moved many programs off the phone to the SD card to make space. Seems that if an app has bee moved to the SD card ti loses permission to use that SD card. Go figure. I moved Mort back to internal storage and was able to set the permission to use the SD card. Still have some issues with m4a files that used to work; might be a Marshmallow thing. Also, Marshmallow seems to have renamed the path to the SD card, borking my saved playlist.
