Important Information:
Currently, Taxfix focuses on simple tax cases. The following groups or cases are not yet supported:
Self-employed individuals, freelancers, and tradespeople, including the taxable operation of a photovoltaic system
Pensions as a civil servant (pension) or for other reasons of obligation, e.g. sales transaction
Income from letting and leasing rooms, apartments, houses and other developed and undeveloped land. This also applies to rentals via platforms such as AirBnB
Support for adult relatives through maintenance payments
Income from agriculture or forestry.
Special payments to members of parliament.
Year-round residence abroad (limited tax liability)
Residences in two countries at the same time
Foreign income during the stay in Germany only with restrictions (except: Capital gains, subsequent wages for previous activities abroad and V+V/L+F from EU/EEA are supported)
Tax returns involving inheritance or gifts.

I have used this app for years now.but this year the UI was exceptionally troublesome. Could not skip questions to come back and answer them, attachment won't upload as UI kept refreshing, when tried to change answer and resave ; new answer was not saved at all. When finally I got tired and opened the web version , found out the app and web version are not synced. Somehow after many to and fros with my consultant we managed the process but it was painful.
