Have you ever been tired of switching on WiFi tethering manually when your smartphone connects to your in-dash car handsfree unit via Bluetooth. This App brings the solution, the missing Android feature.

This App will start the WiFi hot spot of your mobile automatically as soon as it gets connected via Bluetooth to your in-dash car unit (or any other Bluetooth device).

Features:
- Automatically starts WiFi hot spot when connecting to a Bluetooth device
- WiFi state will always be restored automatically after Bluetooth disconnect
- Start selected Apps with the hot spot (basically means, start specific apps like radar warners everytime you enter your car and bluetooth connects to the handsfree unit)
- Several setup options like shutdown bluetooth at disconnect, select specific bluetooth devices only, ignore Bluetooth LE connections
- Option added, to decide if hot spot should be started only, if device is charged

Just start the App once to set it up. After that it will run in the background doing the "work" for you.

This app senses the bluetooth connection and disables the wifi connection on my phone, but does not start the hot spot. Even more annoying, is that the wifi stays off after bluetooth disconnects, even though the apps setting is supposed to turn it back on after disconnect. Android 11. This needs to be fixed or refunded.

This app is perfect for what I was looking for. To share my wifi when in the car. I google how to do this and people recommended tasker apps. They were too complicated. This was super easy to set up, is flexible eg it looks for a specific bluetooth device and turns on when that is connected. I think I will also use the option that only enables the wifi when charging, I'll see how it goes. Does exactly as it describes and a bit more.

Works flawlessly! You may need to manually run it for the first time after you install it and after your phone and head unit (or whatever device) have paired via BlueTooth. I enjoy this app because it's simple and unintrusive and is excellent value for money. It's so good that you don't even know it's there - and that's what great utilities should do. Excellent value for money. NB Android 7 phone and Android 10 car head unit.
